Preparation

Meatballs:

  1. In a bowl, combine minced meat, finely chopped onion, egg, marjoram, water, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and coat them in breadcrumbs. Set aside.

Mushroom sauce:
3. On a pan, heat butter and oil.
4. Add chopped onion and sauté until lightly browned.
5. Add finely chopped garlic and sliced mushrooms.
6. Fry until the water from the mushrooms evaporates, stirring occasionally.
7. Pour in the vegetable broth and cook briefly.
8. Mix the flour with the cream and add it to the sauce. Cook briefly until the sauce thickens.
9. Finally, add chopped dill. Pour the sauce into a bowl.

Cooking the meatballs:
10. Clean the pan, add a little oil, and fry the meatballs until golden brown.
11. Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs and cook together for a short while.

Serving:
Serve with potatoes or groats.
